Cowboy Challenge is a test of horsemanship: the partnership between horse & human. |
The Challenge is designed to test a horse's confidence, training and trust in its person, as well as the rider's cues and direction. Combinations compete over a course of 13 obstacles and are judged on softness, varying speed - and importantly - horsemanship.
Cowboy Challenge North Auckland is a friendly and supportive club for people interested in challenges, obstacle training, and advancing their horse/human partnership. Families, pleasure riders and the serious competitor are all encouraged, assisted and welcome. We cater for all levels of rider, and offer a variety of events, both competitive and non-competitive, so there is something for everyone. CCNA Easter Eggstravaganza 13 April 2025, Warkworth Showgrounds The Easter Bunny is coming early to CCNA!! Join us for our Easter Eggstravaganza! We will have a range of obstacles laid out in the arena from 10am, try some, or try them all. Ridden, in-hand, or green horses welcome. Committee will be on hand to help, introduce the group to some fun exercises and of course answer questions. Join in our Easter inspired obstacle games including,
